One Black Bug Bled Black Blood

I learned this song from Wendy and Cindy, probably in third grade, about 1984.  The tune is, of course, the Battle Hymn of the Republic.  —Heidi Corbin

The third verse is one of the best tongue-twisters I know. --Dad (David)

As one pink porpoise popped up the pole, the other pink porpoise popped down (4x)

Chorus:
Gory, gory how peculiar, (etc.)

As one sly snake slid up the slide, the other sly snake slid down (4x)

Oh one black bug bled black blood while the other black bug bled blue (4x)
