Works-in-Progress
on the SIL-Mexico website

Some items on this site are Works-in-Progress. This means that:

  • The work has been written by a member of SIL-Mexico.
  • We believe it has sufficient merit to be of value to some members of the public.
  • It has received an initial edit and has been reviewed by at least one SIL-Mexico consultant (a linguistics consultant if it is a linguistic paper, a literacy consultant if it deals primarily with literacy, etc.) 
  • It is to be considered semi-published rather than fully published. It has not been checked as thoroughly for errors of various sorts as our fully-published materials are. Feedback is requested on ways to improve the work, on further relevant information, etc. A mechanism for feedback is provided on the cover page for the particular publication.
  • We reserve all rights to the work, including the right to revise and fully publish at a later time.
  • The work should not be cited without permission from the author. 
  • Works-in-Progress are subject to being removed, updated, or moved without notice and without leaving a forwarding stub behind.
Most Works-in-Progress are published in PDF format.
